Response #2

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.”
—Mark Twain in The Innocents Abroad, 1857

I pretty agree with those words, because I have my own experience and I feel that is true. I have travelled a lot of place, and some of them are great. However, I have the best example about this statement. Coming to the US is the most suitable experience to agree it. After I came to the US, I learned a lot about american's culture, knowledge, and lives. I also improved my english a lot. Now I think i can live in the world better. So i agree with this statement.
